L-Tryptophan
L-Tryptophan is a natural amino acid found in many proteins, which is involved in the production of the hormone serotonin and has been shown to help reduce aggression and stress. Tryptophan also creates niacin, which is essential in creating the neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin helps to control mood and sleep. It is a hormone that transmits the signals between nerve cells.
It provides a number of health benefits such as promoting better sleep quality, relief from depression and anxiety or increased emotional wellbeing. Since L-Tryptophan is a natural amino acid, it can improve your pet’s behaviour without the concern of organ damage. If your pet is easily stressed, then introducing L-Tryptophan can help overcome a deficiency by maintaining your pet’s serotonin levels, restoring mood as well as overcoming their aggression.
L-Theanine
L-Theanine is an amino acid component of Green Tea and is involved in Dopamine neurotransmitter function. It has been shown to promote a feeling of relaxation without any drowsiness making the perfect calming supplement for dogs and cats ingredient.
L-theanine absorbs easily into the bloodstream, allowing it to quickly get to the brain to take effect. By helping to decrease anxious thoughts, fear and improve a pet’s mood L-theanine can reduce anxiety by increasing the alpha waves in the brain which helps boost focus and establish a sense of calm, which also helps pets sleep and pet’s be more relaxed overall. L-theanine can promote a long-term calming mindset in pets.
GABA
GABA – Gamma – Aminobutyric acid is a chemical made in the brain and is one of the most important neurotransmitters in a pet’s central nervous system. It sends messages through the brain and nervous system and is involved in regulating communication between brain cells. The role of GABA is to inhibit or reduce the activity of the neurons or nerve cells.
Too much activity within the central nervous system, such as that caused by stressful events can lead to anxious behaviour. GABA helps tell the brain to slow down and is responsible for relaxing the nervous system. A deficiency of it may lead to anxiety, fear and phobias.

Fireworks season is a stressful time for pets, with sporadic…
Tracey Bright –
“Just wanted to say these nutracalm capsules have made a huge difference to my dog Buddy’s life. I’m recommending them to my friends who’s pets were like buddy!! He normally has to get diazepam from vet as he gets in such a state. Tonight a neighbour is setting off really loud fireworks and Buddy isn’t even bothered. I’m sure going to be stocking up for New Year and next year with these for him. Sadly his birthday is on Bonfire Night and he’s normally sedated on his birthday – happy tonight to know I won’t have to do that. Thanks so much!I wish I’d found these years ago!”

“Last year I medicated my terrier & said never again. Thank goodness we found your product – nutracalm. She’s not 100% happy but we’ve had no digging or pacing.”
Sylvia Parker –
“I use nutracalm for Holly. They settle her when going on holiday, and she is so spooked at the bangs going off at night. We will certainly use them on fireworks night.”
Judy Chorley –
“I just wanted to say thank you for the help nutracalm has given me and my three cats. I have an elderly cat (13) who had been living alone with me for a year following the death of her “brother” last year. Two months ago I found two kittens at a local rescue centre and brought them home, hoping that the older, normally happy cat, would accept them in a couple of weeks. However, she has become very aggressive if they try to approach her. From before the babies arrived, I was using a plug-in diffuser, and have made sure she has a safe place and all the usual fuss, all with no obvious effect. So while at the vets, I spoke about suitable solutions, and was offered nutracalm. Within 24 hours Mini was calmer, and over the week of use she has improved greatly. She now comes into the same room and allows the kittens to approach much nearer. I am hopeful that things will gradually settle now she is relaxing around the others. Thank you nutracalm! I will continue to use the capsules for as long as I can, and recommend the product to anyone having difficulties with stress and anxiety.”

“I use nutracalm in situations when my dog, Oscar is stressed. It works so fast and is lasting. I’ve bought some from my vet for the upcoming fireworks and kids letting off bangers.”
