“nutramed is an amazing product! Clive is a grey 4 and a half year old lionhead rescue rabbit. When I got Clive we found out he had dental problems. Sore Paws Vets ran bloods and found he had severe liver damage most likely caused by the dental issues. His liver was so badly damaged the vet advised me to prepare for the worst and that he might not survive. We monitored Clive for a couple more weeks with regular weight checks, unfortunately his weight dropped really low, so I took him back to Sore Paws and Vet Ed Jack examined him even further and found he actually had the majority of his teeth missing, as well as a gum infection. After an emergency dental procedure and antibiotics for the infection, more complex bloods were sent off to the lab. The infection cleared up and Clive was prescribed nutramed after the results showed his liver was in really bad shape. After a couple of weeks Clive started to gain weight and we sent more bloods to the lab. The results showed some improvement in his liver. Clive managed to keep his weight up for a few more weeks, and after another dental procedure and more nutramed his weight increased again and he was able to maintain it for the first time. After another 120 days of nutramed Clive had more bloods taken and we were amazed at the results. Dr Ed Jack couldn’t believe how different they were. His liver has improved massively, the results are now all within normal range and he is no longer anaemic. His weight is stable and his teeth are almost normal, he has even started to eat hay. He is a miracle bunny and without the support of the wonderful vets and nurses at Sore Paws he wouldn’t have made it and without nutramed he wouldn’t have survived.”
